Cookie Policy

This page provides some information about the cookies released. First, general information about cookies is provided, which is preparatory to understanding the extended information that we provide as data controllers. While browsing a site, you may receive cookies on your terminal that are sent from the site visited (first parties) or from different web servers (so-called "third parties"). Cookies are used for different purposes: performing computer authentication, monitoring sessions, storing information on specific configurations regarding users accessing the server. The Guarantor for the protection of personal data in its Provision on the matter of 8 May 2014 has identified two macro-categories: Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication on an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the contractor or user to provide such service” (see art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code). They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They can be divided into:
  • Browsing or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access reserved areas);
  • Analytics cookies, assimilated to technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself;
  • Functional cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the user.
For the installation of such cookies, there is an obligation to provide information pursuant to art. 13 of the Code, while prior consent from users is not required. - Profiling cookies are instead designed to create profiles relating to the user and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the internet. Due to the invasiveness that they may have in the private sphere of users, European and Italian regulations require that the user must be adequately informed about their use and thus express their valid consent (see art. 122, paragraph I, of the Code).
